Twenty-year Scholarship Awards

Congratulations to all the recipients of the Festivals of Music Twenty-year Scholarship Awards.

2001 marked the twenty-year anniversary for Festivals of Music and the start of the twenty-year scholarship awards. In 2004 we will proudly present more schools with their awards.

Teachers who have achieved this 20-year participation award will be honored with an annual $1000 scholarship for the next five years. This $1,000 scholarship will be given to a graduating senior who will be pursuing a degree in music education.

Student Leadership Workshops

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser as Educational Administrator for Festivals of Music. Since 1984, Tim has been an integral part of Festivals of Music through his popular student leadership clinics. Now, his positive influence will help shape the educational aspect of all our events. The first role in developing the future of Festivals of Music is an improved, expanded student leadership workshop. These powerful seminars are an exclusive offering of the Festivals of Music curriculum.
