As we know New York City suffered greatly from the acts of terrorism
on September 11, 2001. But the city is bouncing back in its recovery.
Life goes on here and the city is stronger and more resilient than ever.
The Big Apple has it all from art, music, theater, dance and culture.
New York City is a playground for children of all ages. Whether you are
hunting down the latest fashions, strolling through museums, enjoying
many outdoor activities, or star-gazing in Times Square, there is no
city in the world more exciting than the Big Apple. New York is a great
location to attend Festivals of Music or even to do a performance tour.
Let one of our EPN Travel representatives prepare a proposal for your
group.
On and Off Broadway Theater
Your students can enjoy one of the many famous shows Broadway has to
offer. Price varies. Shows are subject to availability. From Into the
Woods and Hairspray to Lion King, the New York stage is alive with
the sound of music. Off-Broadway offers great shows like The Blue Man
Group and Stomp.
Circle Line Cruises
Take an hour to swing around the Statue of Liberty, or splurge on the
three-hour Full Island tour (a three-hour tour, a three-hour tour...).
You may want to consider the Harbor Lights option for a little twilight
on the high seas. Be sure to also check out their cruises that leave
from Pier 83, located at 42nd Street. We can also include a meal package,
which includes; Souvenir Book and Mug (22oz. thermal mug) with free
unlimited refills, choice of sandwich and chips at an additional cost.
The Garage Restaurant and 42nd Street Eatery
The Garage is a theme-ish restaurant scene of engine parts; mechanics'
tools, but yes, also a knife, spoon and fork. There's food ranging
from pizza and pastas, to steak. This is a casual American Jazz Restaurant
in the heart of Greenwich Village. Enjoy 42nd Street Eatery. The Eatery
offers 5 great places to choose from and also includes dessert. Located
near Times Square. Great place for big groups!
New York Offstage Company
This company provides a variety of creatively customized and interactive
master-classes, workshops, and career development programs. Meet-the-Artist;
Groups spend an hour of performance and conversation with an artist
from Broadway, Lincoln Center or Film. A question and answer series
follows the program. This is a good opportunity for groups doing performance
tours.
