Tune Pianos:
Contact your piano tuning service to schedule tuning approximately 2 weeks prior to the adjudication. Have this invoice sent directly to Festivals of Music. All pianos utilized in warm-up, sightreading/clinic and performance areas must be tuned. *Note: if you are hosting multiple festival weekends your pianos should be tuned prior to the first festival and re-tuned as needed throughout the duration of your events. Pianos should not be tuned weekly.
Janitors:
Check to verify when janitorial staff needs to be informed of this event. Having someone available on weekends (with keys) can be a life-saver. Also, access to heating and air-conditioning systems is an absolute necessity.
